This Easter, plan ahead to enjoy a healthy and happy bank holiday by stocking up on essential medicines and making sure you know how to access the right service for any medical needs you might have over the long weekend.
If you have a repeat prescription check your medicine cabinet to make sure you or your family have enough to cover you from April 15 to April 26. If not, order any repeat prescriptions from your GP surgery as soon as you can.
If you need to see a pharmacist over the Easter weekend, click here for opening times across East Sussex. As well as dispensing medicines, pharmacies can provide local, confidential, expert advice and treatment.
GP surgeries will be closed for four days, from Friday 19 April to Monday 22 April inclusive. If you need some health or care advice over this time, call NHS 111 where professionally trained advisors will be able to direct you to the most appropriate service and can book you into an urgent, same-day, appointment if necessary. They are available 24/7 and are the best way to make sure you get the care that you need.
